At Holyport Primary School, we also offer a Pre-Reception provision, based in the Reception Foundation Unit.
Pre-Reception is a really valuable stage of your child's education, when children first start 'formal' schooling and learn to socialise with others. At our school, pupils are normally admitted to the Pre-Reception Class at the beginning of the school year (1 September – 31 August) in which they reach their fourth birthday. Parents whose children were born between 1 September 2020 and 31 August 2021 may apply for them to be admitted to the Pre-Reception Class in September 2024.
Our offer for this stage is play-based and full of experiential learning. Attending Pre-Reception is sometimes the first time that children are independent from their parents/carers and we understand that families want to get the best start for their children. We offer part-time (8.30-11.30am), Monday to Friday places.
If you would like to visit and have a tour with Mrs Featherstone, please call the school office on 01628 627743 to make an appointment.
