School Uniform

We like the children at Holyport School to wear our smart and practical uniform, as it gives them a sense of pride in our school.

Buying School Uniform

This is available from School Days Direct, who are based in Slough. They offer an online service and a click and collect option, through their website at www.schooldaysdirect.co.uk - use the access code SDDHPS

Please see below the uniform required at Holyport Primary School:

• School sweatshirt or cardigan (badged and available from School Days Direct)
• School fleece (badged and an optional winter layer available from School Days Direct)
• White polo shirt (Foundation Stage and Year 1 & 2)
• White collared shirt (Years 3-6)
• Trousers, skirts, pinafore or shorts - grey
• Tie (from Year 1 available from School Days Direct)
• Yellow summer dress - optional summer uniform
• Socks - grey/white
• Black shoes

Please note that in our Foundation Stage, it is also useful to have the following items:

• A coat with a hood in school for all seasons, as the children do go out in cold and damp weather
• A pair of wellies for the sandpit
• A spare set of clothes, including underwear and socks just in case they get wet or muddy!

PE Kit

Pupils arrive at school wearing their PE kit on the days when they have PE.  On colder days and during the winter months, please can your child also wear their school badged jumper or cardigan to help keep them warm (no hoodies or other branded jumpers please).

• School house t-shirt (badged and available from School Days Direct)
• Plain black shorts
• Plain black tracksuit/jogging bottoms for colder months
• Plimsolls or trainers

General Uniform Rules

• Please clearly name ALL items of clothing - especially jumpers and cardigans
• Proper school shoes must be worn, when it's not a PE day. Shoes heels must be low and open toed sandals are not suitable for school.
• Long hair should be tied back and hair bands should match school colours
• In the interest of safety, jewellery must not be worn. Should your child have pierced ears, studs must be worn and removed for PE/games
• No nail varnish should be worn

HSA Pre-Loved Uniform

The HSA (our parent/school committee) regularly hold pre-loved uniform sales, where you are able to purchase used items of uniform at very reasonable prices. Details are communicated via Parent Pay.
