Nursery Class

At Holyport Primary School, we also offer a Nursery provision, based in the Reception Foundation Unit.

Nursery is a really valuable stage of your child's education, when children first start 'formal' schooling and learn to socialise with others. At our school, pupils are normally admitted to the Nursery Class at the beginning of the school year (1 September – 31 August) in which they reach their fourth birthday. Parents whose children were born between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019 may apply for them to be admitted to the Nursery Class in September 2022.

Our offer for this stage is play-based and full of experiential learning.  Attending Nursery is sometimes the first time that children are independent from their parents/carers and we understand that families want to get the best start for their children. We offer part-time (8.45-11.45am), Monday to Friday places.

If you would like to visit and have a private tour with Mrs Featherstone, please call the school office on 01628 627743 and make an appointment.

Welcome to Holyport Primary School. We currently have Nursery places available for September 2022. We would like to offer any prospective parents a private tour of the school with the Headteacher.
